The challenge: 

We needed a way to share new links to blog posts and products featured in daily Instagram posts. Existing software options like Linktree or LikeShop provide a turnkey solution for sharing links but need to be more flexible and offer more context for users.

As head of social media at Prose, I found that a significant percentage of users who clicked our Instagram link in bio bounced before landing on prose.com. Our LikeShop landing page could have been more effectively engaging users from social media, and we weren't able to accurately measure the impact of our organic social media content on traffic or conversion.

The solution:

I proposed we create a simple landing page on Prose.com that would allow the social media team to drive traffic directly to the website and provide a better user experience.

We worked with LikeShop to embed two galleries on the landing page:

1) featured content and products to be updated by the social media team as needed, and

2) an automatically updated grid that mirrors the Instagram profile as new posts go live.

Using embeddable galleries minimized developer workload and allowed the social media team to maintain existing processes for publishing content.

The results:

The updated landing page led to a 194% increase in traffic and a 188% increase in conversion rate from our organic Instagram profile.
